Welcome to my website! My name is Kay Blond and I am a licensed Real Estate Broker. I am a former Team Leader whom had the opportunity to open a Market Center from incubation, WOW that is a lot of work and very rewarding. In September of 2004 I had the opportunity to develop and implement a Productivity Mentor Program in the Overland Park Kansas market center. The program has been a huge success in our market center and has given the market center more than we ever expected.
As you know, Keller Williams Realty offers outstanding training and a higher commission split to new and newer agents in the business. Therefore, it makes sense that they would gravitate to the number one company of choice.
When a new agent joins our market center, they are immediately entered into the Mentor Program,(that is the standard in our office).
Here is how the Mentor Program works. The Productivity Mentor is a licensed Broker with a background in Listing/Selling Real Estate, who has chosen to become a full time personal mentor and educator. The Mentor and the Mentee enter into a partnership through the first 3 closed transactions. The Mentor is responsible for educating, consulting, guiding and holding the Mentee accountable to stay on track to a successful career. The Mentor must be available during off hours, such as nights, week-ends and holidays to assist with contract calls by phone. The Mentor will receive a portion of the Mentee’s commission from the first 3-4 closed transactions. Once the Mentee has graduated from the program, their Productivity Mentor will always be there to continue to coach them.
My goal is for our new/newer agents to have successful Real Estate Careers with longevity and prosperity.
